Digital Transformation is a cross-company process that is impacted by the changes associated with information technologies and operating technologies implemented. It also represents an important cultural change within an organization, mainly in the human capital of the company and its formation. This process of Digital Transformation must be driven by a well-defined strategy, focused on business objectives, able to take full advantage of the opportunities of its digital ecosystem. That is why to move forward in that sense it is necessary to have an indicator that allows to evaluate the current and future status of the Digital Transformation in order to establish goals, define priorities and identify the processes where action must be taken to achieve a greater impact in the organization. In the case that this indicator is analyzed, it is called the Digital Transformation Index and its determination uses an own model that is based on business processes, weighing them according to their classification and impact. The present work describes the aforementioned model, analyzes the results of its use in the 2013 - 2017 plan and its use for the determination of the 2018 - 2022 plan in Cienfuegos Refinery S.A.
