Digital culture is a set of practices, customs and forms of social interaction through the use of digital technologies. In the cultural sector, this technological revolution has opened endless opportunities for local artists, allowing them to transcend borders and bring their art to global audiences. However, not all nations have the same technological advances, nor the same development of skills for the use of Information and Communication Technologies by their artists and people related to the cultural sector. An example of this is the Caribbean nations. The aforementioned drawbacks also affect the development of digital transformation in the culture of the Antillean nations. At present, nations such as Cuba, Dominica, Martinique and Haiti are working together to develop a training and professional education program in Digital Culture adapted to the characteristics of the Caribbean region. This program is called the Project "CL.au.DI.A. - Antillean Digital Culture". The purpose of this paper is to describe how this project contributes to digital transformation and local development in countries of the Antillean region, empowering artists in the use of digital tools for creative processes and enabling digital skills in them. For the development of the paper, were applied the scientific methods historical-logical, inductive-deductive and hypothetical-deductive, to describe the origins of the project CL.au.DI.A, its objectives and academic modules that compose it.
