The Cuban Magazine of Digital Transformation, managed by the Union of Informaticians of Cuba (UIC) and the Academic Committee of the V International Conference on Computer Engineering and Information Systems (CIIISI 2022), which took place from November 28 to December 2 of 2022, within the framework of the XX Scientific Convention of Engineering and Architecture of the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (Cujae), are integrated into this special issue dedicated to the applications of computational intelligence, case studies in various sectors and digital solutions in specific business contexts. A total of thirteen contributions were selected to be invited to be part of the magazine. The first eight contributions present in this edition were included in the panels Computational intelligence and IT infrastructure solutions» and «Software engineering, IT solutions and case studies in multiple sectors».
