A Business Intelligence Solution for project management using Microsoft and Pentaho

Project management is one of the most influential factors in the success of a project. In order to carry out a good project management, company’s managers need information that helps them in their decision-making process. In this sense, it is especially useful to have measures and indicators to support this.
This article presents a concrete proposal of measures and indicators in different areas of project management, from conducting a study of standards, standards and work related to the subject, as well as conducting surveys to managers of the organization where the project was developed.
The article includes the design and implementation of a solution using Microsoft and Pentaho business intelligence tools. This allows to support the proposal of measures and indicators for project management. This solution allows you to save historical records and perform different types of analysis on the data.
